Relying on the design of the conventional rotator, the anti-drift deivce is an advanced feature that controls the longitudinal translation of the vessel during the rotations by modifying the idler rotator into elevating type.

A test device (precise small roller) is used for constantly in contact with the vessel end. Any little creep translation of the vessel will cause the movement of the small roller, which as a feedback will be sent to the control unit and it drives the action of the idler rotator for correcting the creep translation. The anti-drift accuracy will be less than ±2mm.
